Last night was an exciting night for Cleveland baseball. The Guardians took a 1-0 lead in the ALCS against the Rays, stealing the Rays' first home game in St. Petersburg.

We're going to be out of town for all the ALCS games in Cleveland, but we plan on going out tonight to watch the second game somewhere. Fingers crossed we manage to take another win and come back with a chance to finish the series up in Cleveland.

My runs have been going well. Last week was a taper week so a bit more boring compared to previous weeks. I chose a different route for my 3 mile run today that took me down towards the Flats. Good change of scenery, but had some brutal hill climbs on the way back. Still, I'm happy enough with the pace even if it wasn't a PR, and I'm set up for a good 4 mile run Thursday morning before we fly out, which will hopefully make snoozing away on the plane easier.

San Diego is where we're headed, a first for me. Megha has taken the lead on planning it out, so I'm not 100 percent sure what exactly we're doing but I know that means we'll have some good food stops planned. I will also have some alone time while she's at a conference. I am planning to fill that up with at least one easy 3 mile run out along the beach somewhere, and then maybe a brewery stop if I find an interesting one.
